A list of Frequently Asked Questions that should help out if you have any of your own! If you have additional questions after reviewing this and my Terms of Service, please send me an e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
- How do I get a commission?
Getting a commission is simple, and just requires you to be on my FurAffinity or email at the correct time!
On a specific date and a specific time (usually 5:00PM Eastern Standard Time) I will post an FA journal as well as a tweet announcing that I am opening for commissions. Select the appropriate order form, fill it out and you’re done!
- When do you open for commissions?
I try to open every (roughly) 2 - 3 weeks. I open commissions on a constant basis - whenever my current queue gets completed, I open for more. I always post heads-up announcements on FA. (I may complete queues faster or slower, depending on the amount of work and complexity of work I have to do!)
- Is there any way I can prepare for commission openings ahead of time?
You can use my commission form template to prepare your information, and get acquainted with the questions that I will ask on the order form.
- How much is [insert item here]?
Prices for all commission types I offer can be found on the Prices page!
- This is my first time commissioning you. What should I know?
I have made a guide for first time commissioners here.
- I’ve commissioned you but cannot pay you on time! What should I do?
While my payment due date is 2 days after receiving your invoice, I understand that circumstances can happen and things can come up! If your payment will be delayed for any reason, please contact me as soon as you can via e-mail.
- How long should I expect to wait for my commission?
I try to finish my queues in 2 - 3 weeks. Queues of 10 slots typically take one - two weeks. However, this is all based on the complexity of the commissions in queue. (For example, if I have a queue with mostly icons and sketches, I may go faster. If the queue is full of complex illustrations, it may take a little longer!) Regardless, if any delays surface, commissioners will be notified and a public notice will be posted on FA.
Also, please note that commissions get completed in the order they are paid. I recommend paying as soon as you get your invoice if you are eager for your commission!
- Where can I see more examples of your work?
I post all of my completed artwork to my FurAffinity and Furry Network galleries. I use Tumblr, for sketches, WIPs and work I may not post to FA or DA!
